Few schools in Uganda can boast of a musical legacy as rich and inspiring as Kabale Trinity College's Brass Band. Established with a vision to instill discipline, nurture talent, and inspire excellence, the Brass Band has grown to become not only the pride of Kabale District, but also a regional icon—a trailblazer in school brass performance.

As the pioneer school brass band in the Kigezi region, our band doesn’t just play music—it commands presence, celebrates identity, and uplifts spirits. Its rhythmic beat and melodic symphony have become a hallmark of official school events and a symbol of Kabale Trinity’s commitment to holistic education.

From humble beginnings, the band has developed into a well-organized and skilled musical ensemble, featuring:

• Trumpets, trombones, tubas, euphoniums
• Flutes, saxophones, clarinets
• Percussion instruments like snare drums, bass drums, and cymbals
• Professionally trained student musicians and dedicated band instructors

The KATRICO Brass Band has not only performed at school events but also been invited to play at:

• District-level celebrations and education functions
• National holidays and political gatherings
• Percussion instruments like snare drums, bass drums, and cymbals
• Religious events and community outreaches
• State visits—including performances in the presence of the President of Uganda
• Alumni reunions, weddings, and public parades
